Summary

We are looking for a Financial Reporting Accountant for our company in Amsterdam. You are going to work in a small team where you have your own responsibilities. Your mission is to create procedures, standardize the process of all European entities and ensure all accounting / reporting activities are running smoothly. You will be involved in the implementation of systems for our new legal entities across Europe. As the business grows, opportunities to broaden your experience in other areas of the financial department will be available.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage the general ledger accounting activities by ensuring accuracy and timeliness of cut off, journal entry postings, reconciliations and month-end close activities.
• Facilitate internal and external audits, including but not limited to statutory account, income tax, customs duties, and the related provision of required information.
• Perform reporting and other ad hoc work for management and corporate accounting.
• SAP application management, support in implementation of SAP, sharing local requirements and support during UAT testing.
• Support in various treasury tasks. 

Requirements

• Experience of reporting and accounting treatment on group level is required
• Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal skills;
• Highly motivated and enthusiastic to contribute to team goals with a strong desire for continuous learning.
• Excellent command of English and any other language is a plus
• Good knowledge of SAP, MS Office and reporting tools
• Strong work ethic with a desire to drive improvements and achieve results
• Ability to work independently and manage competing priorities in a fast-paced environment
