Lotus Cars Europe B.V. is responsible for the Marketing, Sales and After Sales of the Lotus Cars products in the European region. To bring the company to the level we want it to be, we are looking for a Senior Technician to join us in our Lotus Work Hub based in Nanterre. 

To ensure its position as a global performance car business and brand, Lotus has decided to open its own Lotus branded aftersales location in the main European cities, called Lotus Works. It will be a place where customers could maintain their car like in any other Lotus Centre and be inspired by all the Lotus spirit and latest technologies. Employees of Lotus Works will be employed directly by the group Lotus.

Summary:

Reporting to the Field Aftersales Manager France, the Technician will be responsible for fixing cars right the first time, following procedures and Lotus quality standards. This role will mainly work on EV cars and supporting and coaching other junior technicians.

What you'll do:

• Day to day management of the Lotus Paris Ouest after-sales activities being a single point of contact for maintenance topics.
• Ensure cars are fixed right the first time.
• Handle maintenance, repairs, and rework on all Lotus models using Lotus special diagnostic tools.
• Develop partnerships with local bodyworks, technical control companies, and other aftersales-related activities.
• Treat vehicles with utmost care, ensuring top quality by carefully inspecting them before returning them to their existing and/or new drivers (quality control checklist).
• Report any issues to the technical team at Lotus and share best practices.
• Take care of the customer vehicle reception, spare parts management, warranty claims management and occasional service advisor replacement.
• Stay up to date with training to remain the most advanced expert in diagnostics and comply with the annual training schedule required by Lotus standards.

What you'll bring:

• At least 5 years of experience as technician in a complex environment such as automotive, ideally in EV brand
• Bac Pro technique, BTS Technique, CQP diagnostic maintenance automobile will be considered as a plus
• Technical EV know-how is a must have and you are fascinated by new technologies
• Excellent knowledge of electrical diagrams and diagnosis tools
• Class B driving license
• Fluent knowledge of French and English is a must have
• Extremely organised, being a team player and ability to manage pressure

Additional Information:

• This role will be working from our Lotus Works in Nanterre, France.
• Frequent travel will be required to ensure mobile reparation mainly across Ile-de-France Region, depending on Lotus policy and needs. Applicants must therefore possess the ability to travel freely without restrictions.
• Candidates must be eligible to work in France without VISA sponsorship.
