Lotus Tech Innovation Centre in Germany is a world-class engineering facility in electric mobility and the cradle of next-generation legends. A team of 200 enthusiastic experts in one place. To bring the company to the level we want it to be, we are looking for a Vehicle Dynamics Controls Performance to join us in our office based in Raunheim (close to Frankfurt).

What you'll do:

• Advanced knowledge of vehicle dynamics physics.
• Very good understanding of conventional controls system like slip controls, steering.
• Very good understanding of actuators influencing vehicle dynamics performance.
• In depth experience controlling the interaction of vehicle dynamics actuators.
• Develop methodologies and trimming strategies for complex vehicle actuator dependencies.
• Good background in de-/centralized controls strategies.
• Experience with x by wire systems.
• Support development of all aspects of vehicle dynamics.
• Prototype handling and vehicle evaluation experience.
• Define and shape vehicle performance.
• Collaborate closely with the global vehicle dynamics and system design team.
• Joint tuning and validation activities across Europe and globally.
• Support issue identification and resolution.
• Report development status to leadership.
• Screen new technologies and contribute to the definition of innovation strategy roadmap for complete vehicles.

What you'll bring:

• At least 5 years of working experience in a similar function in the automotive industry at either an OEM or a Tier1 supplier.
• Automotive Engineering degree or equivalent experience gained on the field.
• Very good and experienced driving skills, also at limit handling.
• Very good subjective evaluation skills as well as calibrating/tuning experience
• Enthusiasm and passion to drive and develop high performance and premium cars.
• Good written and spoken English and German knowledge.
• Experienced with tools like Office, Vector, Inca etc.
• High level of engagement to solve any issues and drive issue resolution.
• Positive attitude, resolute and highly skilled to drive for results.
• Open approach to people, especially in an international environment.
• Flexible regarding travels in EU, China and other countries if needed.
• High integrity and trust in all activities and communication.
