Summary:
The Retail Marketing Specialist DACH will support the Marketing & Communications Lead in the DACH region in driving marketing initiatives and contributing to achieving regional sales targets. This role is responsible for supporting the planning, executing, and optimization of dealer marketing initiatives as well as DACH marketing activations, ensuring alignment across internal stakeholders, and tracking the effectiveness of marketing efforts. The ideal candidate is highly organized, sales-driven, and able to coordinate with multiple internal teams and external partners to deliver impactful marketing activations. This role offers the opportunity to shape and execute high-impact marketing initiatives in the DACH region, work closely with internal and external stakeholders, and directly influence regional sales growth and brand presence.
Key Responsibilities:
Dealer Marketing Support
Help define KPIs for dealer marketing initiatives, analyse performance data, and recommend adjustments to optimize outcomes.
Consult and support dealers with planning and executing their dealer marketing plans in line with the Lotus brand strategy and in close cooperation with DACH Marketing & Communications Manager as well as Sales & Network Managers.
Handle dealer enquiries in a professional and timely manner, providing reliable information and maintaining strong stakeholder relationships.
Support dealer events by assisting with execution and ensuring alignment with overall marketing strategy.
Support coordination of yearly dealer budgets and ensure adherence to financial plans.
Ensure consistent brand presentation across all dealer marketing initiatives (events, POS materials, online campaigns…).
Provide dealers with Lotus social media content to strengthen local campaigns and monitor execution.
Monitor and evaluate dealer marketing execution quality and identify optimization potential.
Reporting & Performance Analysis
Assist in the development of a metrics system to track and evaluate the impact of marketing efforts.
Assist in monitoring the marketing funnel, analyse campaign performance, and preparing regular reports for internal stakeholders as well as dealer partners.
Provide actionable insights and recommendations based on data analysis to optimize marketing effectiveness.
Report dealer marketing efforts, evaluate performance and continually adapt our strategy.
Provide DACH Marketing & Communications Manager as well as Top Management with various insights, analytics and reportings.
Cross-Functional Collaborations
Maintain close alignment with and support internal stakeholders, including the Head of Cluster, Sales, Product, etc., to ensure integrated execution of initiatives.
Serve as a point of contact for external agencies, ensuring timely delivery of high-quality marketing and event assets.
Organize and manage internal events, such as dealer conferences, team-building activities, and other corporate gatherings, ensuring smooth execution, alignment with company objectives, and a positive experience for all participants.
Take ownership of administrative responsibilities, ensuring smooth coordination and timely execution across all ongoing activities.
Prepare internal and external presentations, delivering clear, well‑structured materials that support strategic communication and decision‑making.
Manage quotes, invoices, and budgets, ensuring accuracy, transparency, and alignment with internal processes.
Support with proofreading, localisation, and deployment of communication materials.
Contribute to the seamless delivery of a fully integrated 360° role, supporting cross‑functional initiatives and operational excellence.
Serve as a holiday backup for the DACH Marketing & Communications Manager, temporarily taking over responsibility for also managing the PR agency, coordinating press fleet activities, overseeing related administrative tasks, and ensuring continuity of all marketing and communication operations in their absence.
Event Management and Marketing Communications
Plan, execute, and manage external customer events across the DACH region, including budgeting, logistics, and post-event analysis.
Plan and execute broader marketing initiatives in close collaboration with the DACH Marketing & Communications Manager, including online campaigns, paid media, CRM marketing, and other communications activities.
Support the planning, execution, and optimization of online marketing campaigns and paid media initiatives, ensuring alignment with DACH marketing strategies and driving measurable engagement and sales results.
Develop and execute local partnership initiatives.
Coordinate with internal DACH stakeholders, including Sales and Marketing teams, to ensure seamless collaboration.
Manage and steer external agency partners for event production and creation of visual assets, ensuring materials and activations align with brand guidelines.
Requirements:
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Marketing, Public Relations, Communications, or Automotive Business, or related field.
Strong coordination skills, structured and process-driven approach, numbers-driven mindset.
At least 3-5 years of experience in retail marketing, event management, or marketing, preferably in automotive or luxury retail environment.
Proven experience working with dealer networks or retail organizations
Strong project management skills and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with experience working cross-functionally and managing external partners.
Excellent writing and communications skills, ideally experience in editorial work.
Data-driven mindset, with experience in reporting, KPI tracking, and campaign performance analysis.
Experience with online marketing.
Expertise in Microsoft Excel, Powerpoint, Adobe Cloud.
